Average Care Costs
$10 a month covers a nail trim.
$15 a month covers one bag of food.
$25 a month covers one vaccination.
$65 a month covers one groom.
$250 covers a senior bloodwork panel.
$500 pays for an echocardiogram.
$1500 pays for dental surgery and cleaning (our biggest expense).
$600-1500 is the average cost of care for our senior dogs.
Senior dogs typically require more care than their younger counterparts. When a senior dog comes into our care, we treat them like our own. That means they get a complete examination and workup at our vet.
Grooming
While we try to do most of the grooming for our dogs, sometimes a professional is needed. The average price range for professional grooming services can vary from $65 – $75. Consider donating a groom today!
Sponsor a Dental Surgery
The most common surgery we do with senior dogs is dental cleaning and extractions. Most of these dogs have never had a dental in their entire life and their mouth is filled with painful, rotting teeth. Dental surgeries can range from $890 – $1800, and sometimes more. Consider sponsoring a dental surgery and directly improve the quality of life for a senior in need.
